Toninato scored a goal, dished a shorthanded assist and added two hits in Friday's 4-3 overtime win over the Blue Jackets.
Toninato's pair of points came in the first period -- he scored the opening tally and set up Kyle Connor for a shortie. This ended a 13-game point drought for Toninato, who had been held off the scoresheet since Feb. 25. The 28-year-old has 12 points, 38 shots on net, 79 hits and 20 PIM in 61 contests. Four of his points this season have come shorthanded.
