Deirdre O’Connell to Be Honored at 2022 Lucille Lortel Awards

The Lucille Lortel Awards, which are presented exclusively to recognize Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway, will return to an in-person celebration on Sunday, May 1 at NYU Skirball. Nominations will be announced on April 7.
At the ceremony, actress Deirdre O'Connell will be presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award. She received the 2020 Lortel Award for “Dana H,” which transferred last year to Broadway’s Lyceum Theatre.
In addition, playwright David Henry Hwang, whose works include “M. Butterfly” and “Soft Power” will be inducted onto the famed Playwrights’ Sidewalk in front of the Lucille Lortel Theatre.
