Greiss (upper body) won't play Saturday against the Lightning nor Sunday against the Penguins.
Greiss was run into by Islanders winger Oliver Wahlstrom in the second period of Thursday's 5-2 loss. He finished out the period but didn't come back out for the third. Alex Nedeljkovic will likely start at least one game over the weekend, and Detroit will recall reinforcements in net from AHL Grand Rapids. Greiss's next chance to get back on the ice will come Wednesday against the Rangers.
