Lowry (COVID-19 protocols) will be in action versus Columbus on Friday, Ken Wiebe of Sportsnet reports.

Lowry is back in the lineup following a three-game stint in the league's COVID-19 protocols. Prior to his absence, the 28-year-old winger had racked up six goals in his previous 11 appearances, along with one assist, 25 shots and 40 hits. With the trade deadline roster shake-up that included Zach Sanford, Mason Appleton and Andrew Copp, it's not immediately clear where Lowry fits into the lineup, though it will almost certainly be a middle-six role.
