(AUDIO): State Sen. Rick Brattin (R-Harrisonville) discusses congressional redistricting on 939 the Eagle’s “Randy Tobler show”

The Missouri Senate has voted 22-10 to approve a new congressional map that moves mid-Missouri’s Boone, Cooper and Moniteau counties to the third district, which is currently held by U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (R-St. Elizabeth). State Sen. Rick Brattin (R-Harrisonville), who voted for the final map, originally wanted a 7-1 map, but says that wasn’t possible to pass. Senator Brattin is seeking the GOP nomination for west-central Missouri’s fourth district, which is currently held by U.S. Rep. Vicky Hartzler (R-Harrisonville).
