Namestnikov (not injury related) will make his Stars debut Thursday against Carolina, Mike Heika of the Stars' official site reports.
Namestnikov is expected to slot into a second-line role versus the Hurricanes. He picked up 13 goals and 25 points through 60 games with the Red Wings before being traded to Dallas on Monday.
