Catherine Zeta-Jones has been getting ready for Hollywood's biggest night.
The Oscar-winning actress, 52, shared a past memory from attending the famed award show to her Instagram account on Wednesday, March 23, where she can be seen looking as glamorous as ever while strutting down the red carpet.
"It's almost that magical time of year," Zeta-Jones wrote alongside the clip of her in a skintight red gown from years past. "The Oscars are this weekend! I can't wait to watch the ceremony. I'm curious, which film do you think will win best picture?"
Despite taking a bit of a hiatus from acting, the Wales native — who picked up an Oscar herself for Best Supporting Actress for 2002's Chicago — has gotten her career ramped up again starring as Morticia Addams in Wednesday, Netflix’s continuation of the Addams’ Family saga. She’s also set to star in the upcoming National Treasure film.
Zeta-Jones “is more focused on her career than she has been in years,” an insider exclusively told OK! now that her children with husband Michael Douglas — Dylan, 21, and Carys, 18 — are grown. “Catherine’s happy to be working so much."
Despite getting back out there in Hollywood, the brunette beauty's marriage to the Wall Street star, 77, has hit a bit of a breaking point. “Michael’s getting on in years, and he’s not exactly a hunk of love these days,” the insider explained, “and that’s a sore point for Catherine.”
“Michael and Catherine have had their share of ups and downs, and many thought they were headed for divorce,” the source said of the couple — who tied the knot in 2000. “Marriage is a lot of work, even for a couple as wealthy and famous as they are.”
The Tinseltown-duo briefly separated in 2013. At the time, Zeta-Jones’ rep said they were “taking some time apart to evaluate and work on their marriage.”
However, the Broadway star and Douglas are trying their best to make things work. “It’s been hard, but they’ve made it this long, and loved ones are confident Catherine and Michael will be able to work through their problems and come out on the other side," the insider spilled.
