San Francisco signed Hyder to a one-year, $1.5 million contract Thursday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Hyder previously spent the 2020 season with the 49ers, so he boasts experience in the team's defensive scheme. The veteran defensive end logged 15 appearances in Seattle last year, where he was limited to 33 total tackles and 1.5 sacks.
