O'Regan was demoted to AHL San Diego on Wednesday, Elliott Teaford of The Orange County Register reports.
With an illness running through the Ducks' locker room, O'Regan was sent down to make room for Brendan Guhle to be recalled. O'Regan will likely continue to bounce between levels this season as a depth forward.
