ROGER MOORE
Roger L. Moore, 81, resident of Wheeling, WV, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at WVU Medicine Wheeling Hospital.
He was born on May 1, 1940 in Bluefield, WV, son of the late Lee and Juanita Picklesimer Moore Bell.
He was a member of the Church of Christ. He grew up in show business as Little Roger Lee singing with his parents, Lee and Juanita Moore on the Jamboree. He loved hot rods, trains and WW II Aircraft. He was the first regional director for the National Street Rod Association and a founding member of the Early Times Car Club.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Lee Elbert Moore; son, Roger L. Moore, Jr.
Surviving are his daughters, Patty Kerekes (J.F.) and Anita Joyce Luellen (Peter).
There will be no visitation. Services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
