Vacant Home Burns in Mission Hills

Mission Hills, Los Angele, CA: A vacant home burned late Tuesday night, Mar. 22, in the Mission Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles.

LAFD firefighters achieved knockdown within 10 minutes of arriving on the scene. Keith Johnson / KNN

Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to the 10000 block of North Lemona Avenue for a reported structure fire around 11:10 p.m.

When firefighters arrived at the location, they found a one-story, vacant and boarded home fully engulfed in flames.

LAFD firefighters achieved knockdown within 10 minutes of arriving on the scene.

There are no reported injuries and LAFD will continue the investigation into the cause of the fire.
