Head coach Bob Boughner said Meier will undergo further testing to determine the severity of the injury. The winger had a goal on four shots, went plus-3 and added two hits 18:06 of ice time before his exit. He's up to 27 tallies, 60 points, 111 hits, 247 shots on net and a plus-4 rating in 58 contests overall, so any potential absence would be a significant one for the Sharks to overcome. They next play Thursday versus the Oilers.
