‘American Idol’: Jordin Sparks, Chayce Beckham, Ruben Studdard and other former winners return to competition as mentors

Ruben Studdard won “American Idol” in 2003, during the show’s second season. Next week, Studdard teams up with season 19 winner Chayce Beckham and others as the show’s mentors.

“All will be returning to #AmericanIdol starting next Monday,” the show tweeted, along with the announcement of the seven mentors for Hollywood Week.

The mentors include Studdard, season 6 winner Jordin Sparks, season 7 winner David Cook, season 9 winner Lee DeWyze, season 10′s Lauren Alaina, Haley Reinhart, and Beckham.

Since winning “American Idol” last season, Beckham has been continue to write music and has begun going on tour. He also signed with 19 Recordings in partnership with BBR Music Group/Wheelhouse Records and moved to Nashville, his website states.
