Felipe Vazquez
A Platte County jury returned a guilty verdict Monday evening in the trial of Felipe Vazquez. Vazquez was convicted of first-degree murder in the shooting death of LPD investigator Mario Herrera.
The jury got the case just before noon and deliberated for about 8-hours before returning the verdict.
The sentencing hearing is scheduled for May 25th.
