Kansas senators Roger Marshall and Jerry Moran have returned from a trip to eastern Europe, including along the Ukrainian border, talking with refugees.
Moran told KMBC 9 News from Washington on Monday that he still does not support American forces getting involved in the war, but he said the United States needs to do more to help Ukraine.
"What the Ukrainians desperately need, what we need to help provide is the defense mechanisms to defeat those missiles and rockets coming from outside Ukraine into Ukrainian territory. That is the key to provide air defenses for Ukraine, so that they can continue to win the battle on the ground," Moran said.
