Nieto (undisclosed) will not join San Jose on its upcoming two-game road trip, Corey Masisak of The Athletic reports.
Nieto isn't expected to have a long-term injury, so he could return as early as Saturday against the Ducks. The 29-year-old winger will end up missing at least three total games with his undisclosed issue.
