Vancouver, B.C.- Vancouver Canucks General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that the club has acquired Travis Dermott in exchange for a third-round pick in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. The pick initially belonged to Winnipeg and was acquired in exchange for Nate Schmidt in July 2021.

The 6'0", 202-pound defenceman has also recorded five points (2-3-5) in 22 career playoff games and is currently playing in his first season of a two-year contract signed last July.
A native of Newmarket, Ontario, Dermott was originally selected by Toronto in the second round, 34th overall, in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
