Scott Drew had great reaction at end of Baylor-UNC game

Scott Drew down on the ground

Baylor made a major comeback before ultimately falling short against North Carolina in overtime on Saturday. Baylor head coach Scott Drew rode through the emotions of the game just like a fan.

The top-seeded Bears fell behind by 25 in the second half against the Tar Heels in their NCAA Tournament second-round game. Despite trailing 67-42 with 10:08 left, Baylor did not give up. They began to come back and eventually tied the game with 15 seconds left.

UNC got the ball last and R.J. Davis attempted a 3-pointer to win the game. As the ball was in the air, CBS’ cameras captured Drew, who couldn’t bear to watch.

We understand where you’re coming from, Scott. That was hard to watch.

Though Baylor fought hard to come back in regulation, North Carolina took back over in overtime. They outscored the Bears 13-6 in the extra period and won 93-86.

North Carolina finished the regular season 24-9 and seemed to be much better than an 8-seed. They are proving so far that they were much better than such a low seeding. They just sent the defending champions home.
