Bampton Classical Opera is set to present “Il Mondo della Luna” this summer.

The Haydn opera will star Jonathan Eyers, Sam Harris, Nathan Vale, Iúnó Connolly, Siân Dicker, Margot Arsane, and Catherine Backhouse. Jeremy Gray directs with Thomas Blunt conducting the Orchestra of Bampton Classical Opera and CHROMA.

Karen Halliday will be the choreographer, Pailine Smith will be costume designer, Ian Chandler will handle lighting, and Gilly French will be tasked with translations.

The opening performances on July 22 and 23 will take place at The Deanery Garden in Bampton, Oxfordshire with another showcase scheduled for Westonbirt School in Glos on August 29, 2022. The final showcase, scheduled for St. John’s Smith Square in London, will take place on Sept. 16, 2022.

There will be free pre-performance talks prior to each concert.
