He logged a team-low 11:52 of ice time in Wednesday's 6-3 win over the Devils, which was his first game with a positive number in the plus-minus column in March. He's still on the Flames' third line for now, but the addition of Calle Jarnkrok could push Monahan into a fourth-line role -- given his $6.375 million cap hit, that's a lot of money for such a limited role and a lack of offense. The center has 22 points, 104 shots on net and a minus-14 rating in 60 outings this season.
