Oasis The Kitchen Lounge opened March 10 in Ave Maria Town Center. The full-service restaurant and bar feature a menu of small bites, salads, pastas, poke bowls, burgers, steaks, seafood and classic cocktails. Oasis is a joint venture between Ave Maria residents and restaurateurs Phong Ho and Michael Jaenvega. Jaenvega is the longtime chef-owner at Martin Fierro steakhouse in Naples. Phong Ho was the franchisee of Teriyaki Madness, the Asian fusion restaurant chain that previously occupied the space where Oasis opened, and he also operates the Tropical Smoothie Cafe next door. Oasis, 5072 Annunciation Circle, Suite 103, is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. On Fridays and Saturdays, the owners are planning to keep the bar area open until 11 p.m. with a limited menu.
