FRISCO, Texas -- Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill made the following statement:
"Anton Khudobin underwent a right hip arthroscopy and labral repair, performed by Dr. Bryan Kelly at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, NY, on March 14. The rehabilitation and recovery time is approximately six months from the date of the surgery."

Khudobin, 35, has a 3-4-0 record, with a 3.63 goals-against average and .879 save percentage in nine appearances with Dallas this season. He has a career mark of 114-91-33 with a 2.50 GAA in 259 NHL games with Dallas, Boston, Anaheim, Carolina and Minnesota, including a 47-40-17 record in 112 games with the Stars. He also went 14-10-0 in 25 playoff appearances during Dallas' run to the Stanley Cup Final in 2020. Khudobin has played 206 AHL games with Texas, Providence, San Diego, Charlotte and Houston, posting a 97-78-15 record and a 2.53 GAA.
