Funeral service for Rose Marie (Brand) Asher was March 16, 2022 at Boss Assembly of God Church, with Pastor Paul Davis and Pastor Adam Asher officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilson Mortuary, Salem.
Interment was in the Boss Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Steve Hedrick, Kyle Skipton, Jason Damaske, Bobby Joe Dotson, John Asher, Ross Brand, Andrew Asher and Scott Asher. Honorary pallbearers were J.D. Brooks and Scott Brooks.
Mrs. Asher was born September 26, 1945 in Ironton to Ernest Raymond and Rose Lily (Short) Brand. She married Jimmie “Jim” Gail Asher September 25, 1964. They were the parents of three children. Mrs. Asher died March 10, 2022 in St. Louis at the age of 76 years.
Survivors include her children, Kelley Asher and wife, Lynn, Republic; Lisa Hedrick and husband, Steve, East End; and Bradley Asher and wife, Chris, Belgrade; brother, Charles Brand and wife, Barbara, Texas; grandchildren, Dani Damaske and husband, Jason; Megan Skipton and Jake; Stephanie Hedrick; Tessa Hedrick; Rita Dotson and husband, Bobby; Tim Hartman and wife, Elizabeth; Jessica Hartman and Cole; and Lindel Asher; great-grandchildren, Sydney, Cooper, Mason, Asher, Gunner, Hensley, Lucas, Liberty, Madalyn, Emily, Bradlee, Katie, Samuel and Xander; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Preceding her in death were her husband; parents; brother, Robert Brand; and grandson, Scott Parker.
