Anderson has been impressing at minor-league camp early in spring training, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Anderson made appearances with the Padres, Twins and Orioles in 2021 and posted an 8.49 ERA and 2.06 WHIP in 23.1 innings across 16 relief appearances. He was claimed off waivers by the Blue Jays in mid-November before being outrighted to Triple-A Buffalo later in the month. Even if the right-hander joins the Blue Jays' major-league bullpen at some point this year, he's unlikely to pitch in many high-leverage situations.
