Two girls injured in Taylor County ATV crash

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Two girls were injured following an ATV crash in Taylor County Sunday afternoon, according to a press release from the Florida Highway Patrol.

According to troopers, the incident happened on Sarah Lane near J.J. Blue Road around 4 p.m. Sunday.

The 13-year-old driver was reportedly traveling north on Sarah Lane when she lost control turning a curve. Both the driver and the 12-year-old passenger fell of the vehicle, per FHP.

The ATV collided with a metal fence.

The driver suffered critical injuries, and the passenger suffered serious injuries, according to the release.
