Martinook scored the game-winning goal in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Flyers.
With just under four minutes left in the third period, Vincent Trocheck flipped a seemingly harmless shot from the blue line toward Martin Jones, but Martinook was able to get his stick on it and deflect it past the Philadelphia netminder. It's only Martinook's third goal of the season and first since Jan. 29, but if he continues to see time at even strength on Carolina's second line with Trocheck and Andrei Svechnikov, he could find some deep-league fantasy value.
