Bowey was reassigned to AHL Abbotsford on Saturday.
Bowey did not appear in a game despite being with the Canucks for the last eight contests. He'll continue to provide organizational depth on defense. Bowey's move to Abbotsford suggests one of Kyle Burroughs (upper body) or Tucker Poolman (illness) could be set to return soon.
