Columbus Blue Jackets center Boone Jenner (38) fires a shot during the first period of the NHL hockey game against the Minnesota Wild at Nationwide Arena in Columbus on March 11, 2022.

The Blue Jackets' injury list continues to grow.

After both Jakub Voracek and Patrik Laine left Friday's game against the Minnesota Wild with lower body injuries, captain Boone Jenner is now week-to-week with a lower back injury and has been placed on injured reserve, the team announced Saturday afternoon. Updates on Voracek and Laine are expected Sunday before the Jackets host the Vegas Golden Knights.

Trey Fix-Wolansky was recalled from the Cleveland Monsters on an emergency basis in place of Jenner.

If all three forwards are out, Columbus will be without its top three scorers. Jenner leads the team in both goals and points with 23 goals and 44 points, Voracek is second with 43 points, and Laine ranks second in goals with 22 and third in points with 42.

Jenner previously missed 40 games in the 2014-15 season with a stress fracture in his back and also missed seven games in early 2017 with another back injury.

Elsewhere on the Jackets' injury list, forward Justin Danforth missed Friday's game with a lower body injury, forward Alexandre Texier has a broken finger and is on an indefinite leave of absence to grieve a personal loss, defenseman Adam Boqvist has been on injured reserve with an upper body injury since Feb. 27 and goaltender Daniil Tarasov is recovering from hip surgery but expected to be ready for the start of the 2022-23 season.
