Fernando finished with 16 points (8-8 FG), 11 rebounds and two blocks in 23 minutes during Friday's 113-100 loss to Dallas.
Fernando truly came out of nowhere with this double-double, as he hadn't played more than nine minutes in any given game prior to this contest, and he recorded season-high marks across the board Friday. The fact that he was perfect from the field also stood out, but it wouldn't be realistic to expect these numbers from him on a regular basis. Even after this performance, Fernando is averaging a meager 2.0 points and 1.4 rebounds per game on the season.
