Diddy's 'LOVE' Era

Stevie J, who is currently on Star Island in Miami Beach, Florida, revealed that she was finishing "LOVE," Diddy's forthcoming album, a nod to his recently changed legal name, which is also his middle name.

"I'm on Star Island with Puff," he says. "We're finishing his album, his LOVE album. We [Diddy and Stevie] working on the No Way Out 2 album with Jay Electronica, too. It's going marvelous," he elaborated.

Fans will surely enjoy the upcoming Diddy album as it would feature collaborations with Justin Bieber, Ty Dolla $ign, Fabolous, and Jacquees.

Diddy would not be short on female collaborators. He also enlists Billboard Impact Awardee H.E.R., "Heaux Tales" hitmaker Jazmine Sullivan, R&B gospel singer Kelly Price and even his new blood, Stacy Barthe.

Stevie J described "LOVE" as a "baby-making" type of album as it will give out a "wide assortment of wonderful artists" that have come on this love journey with him.

Clarifying the genre of the album, the 50-year old music producer pointed out that: "It's no trap music. It's just straight R&B love stuff, and I believe that's missing out here because it's so much trap."

Stevie J and Diddy Goes A Long Way Back

Stevie J, one of the most renowned music producers in the industry today, boasts a long list of successful artists in his helm - this includes The Notorious B.I.G., JAY-Z, Mariah Carey, and his current collaborator, Diddy.

The two's relationship dates back to 1997 when Stevie J helped Diddy produce his debut album "No Way Out," which features their Grammy-winning single "I'll Be Missing You."

Working on "LOVE" served as a reunion for the two as the last time they have worked together was on the then Puff Daddy's and Family single "You Could Be My Lover" in 2015.

"I just want to keep making more, create more to be in the atmosphere over here. Diddy's over on Love Island and all of that. It's Jay Electronica here, one of my favorite rappers and producers. We're here together making music right now, executive producing the No Way Out 2 album," he continued.
