Pelech logged an assist, two blocked shots and a plus-3 rating in Friday's 5-2 win over the Jets.
Pelech has started March in good form at both ends of the ice. He's picked up four assists in six games while adding a plus-7 rating and 11 blocked shots. He's been reunited with Ryan Pulock in recent games -- they function as the Islanders' top all-situations defense pairing. Pelech has 19 points, a plus-20 rating, 83 blocked shots, 67 hits and 67 shots on net in 51 outings this season.
