RICE COUNTY—A Kansas man was injured in an accident just before 8:30p.m. Friday in Rice County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2015 Chevy Tahoe driven by Baldomero Arenivas-Armendariz, 34, Lyons, westbound on U.S. 56 just east of 20th Road.
The SUV crossed over into the eastbound lanes, left the roadway into the north ditch and struck the embankment.
EMS transported Arenivas-Armendariz to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
