Minaya signed a minor-league contract with the Twins on Friday that includes an invitation to spring training, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

Minaya was non-tendered by Minnesota in late November, but he'll serve as a non-roster invitee during spring training. He was effective across 29 major-league relief appearances with the Twins last year, as he recorded seven holds with a 2.48 ERA and 1.17 WHIP in 40 innings. If he impresses in camp, it wouldn't be surprising to see him in the Twins' Opening Day bullpen.
