Bibian Mentel was a snowboarding champion and icon. The Dutch athlete helped get para snowboarding into the Paralympics and won three gold medals at the Games. Mentel died after a long battle with cancer in March 2021. But at the 2022 Paralympics in Beijing, athletes and her family say her legacy remains strong. The World’s Bianca Hillier has the story.
