Former Green Bay Packers receiver Donald Driver bought a $3 million Brewer's Hill loft from former Milwaukee Bucks forward Jabari Parker.

The 6,800-square-foot residence on Palmer Street was an empty warehouse before Parker revitalized it into a spacious loft. Driver purchased the home on Feb. 21, according to real estate records.

The space is the "ultimate family crash pad," according to Driver's real estate agent, Shar Borg. Driver also was intentional with the location, Borg said, and purposefully wanted a home near Bronzeville, Milwaukee's Black cultural hub.

Driver, now a businessman and philanthropist, keeps his Wisconsin ties strong. His nonprofit, the Donald Driver Foundation, operates both in Texas, where he also resides, and Wisconsin. He also has several ongoing projects in Milwaukee.

He is a business partner to Brian Lammi of Team Lammi, a Milwaukee-based marketing and talent agency, and is the first ever cultural ambassador for the Marcus Performing Arts Center.

"It just hit all the right buttons [for Driver]," Borg said, noting that the loft is a great business and entertainment space as well as a home.

According to Borg, Driver is keeping the murals Parker had painted, which are odes to Black sports and culture.

Driver played for the Packers from 1999-2012.

Parker now plays for the Sacramento Kings but was the selected by the Milwaukee Bucks as a second overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft. He played with the Bucks until 2018.

The loft he designed boasts a huge rooftop entertaining space, an indoor basketball court and a five car garage, according to Borg.

But despite its size, it is listed as only having two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

"[Driver] really was just looking for a place to call home when he's here in Milwaukee," Borg said.
