Kansas basketball took care of business on Thursday in the Big 12 Tournament. Its reward? A matchup with TCU in the quarterfinals.
The Jayhawks and Horned Frogs square off on Friday at 6 p.m. CT. The game will be televised on ESPN2, and fans can stream using the Watch ESPN app.
Kansas (26-6, 15-4 in the Big 12) made quick work of West Virginia in its opening game of the Big 12 Tournament, winning 87-63 on Thursday. Ochai Ogbaji led the Jayhawks with 18 points. Jalen Wilson added 15 in the win, too.
TCU (20-11, 8-10 in the Big 12) pulled off a second half comeback in its 65-60 win over Texas on Thursday. The Horned Frogs trailed by 18 at halftime before outscoring the Longhorns 43-20 in the second half. Damion Baugh scored a game-high 17 points for TCU.
The Jayhawks and Horned Frogs played twice this season, splitting the pair. TCU won the first meeting 74-64 on March 1, and Kansas answered in the next game with a 72-68 victory.
