A woman was arrested in Coffee County for mail theft in Bacon County.
On Wednesday, the Alma/Bacon County Criminal Suppression Unit executed a search warrant at a South Coffee Street address in Douglas.
The search warrant was in reference to the recent mail thefts that have occurred in Alma and Bacon County.
As a result of the warrant, 20-year-old Margaret Elizabeth Turner was arrested on numerous felony charges.
At the time of publication, investigators have identified approximately thirty-one victims in Bacon County alone. Investigators have also identified victims in three other counties and says that the number of victims is suspected to rise as this case continues to unfold.

They would also like to thank the local citizens who came forward with valuable information that helped investigators.
