EastEnders favourite Danny Dyer seems pleased with his character's exit storyline.
Landlord of The Queen Vic since Christmas Day 2013, Dyer was confirmed to be leaving the soap as Mick Carter back in January, but the way he does is obviously being kept secret for now.
Appearing on BBC Radio 2's The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show yesterday (March 9), the actor told the host: "We've just been pitched my leaving storyline. It's going to be epic. It's huge."

Meanwhile, Linda Carter actress Kellie Bright also chipped in with a few tantalising words: "It is going to be epic. I don't know how I'm going to get through, because I'm very sad that Danny is going. But it's going to be very exciting."
Shortly after his exit announcement, Dyer cleared up a few things surrounding the decision.
"When you're in a job like a soap, your contract comes up for renewal and every time it has they've asked me to stay, and I'm very grateful for that. I've seen a lot of people come and go, it's very tough.
"I always debate whether I want to sign again, and I've been contemplating a while now about maybe it's time to roll the dice, take the leap," Dyer said.

On the whispers of him 'being poached' by another show, he responded: "That's not true at all. The big news is that I've decided not to renew my contract. That's all."
Will the door be left open, or is the EastEnders writing team giving him an explosive farewell?
