The Northwest Arctic Borough would like to announce an open call for commission seats. The reorganization of the commission will place emphasis on community involvement as well as issue related areas.
The NWABPSC responsible include reviewing and recommending all aspects of public safety that come before the assembly and the Mayor’s administration. The NWABPSC will also lead the effort in creating a strategic plan for public safety in our borough.
All individuals who have experience in public safety related fields like domestic violence, sexual assault and mental health are encouraged to send a letter of interest to Public Safety Director Tessa Baldwin.
