The next season of Britain's The Great British Bake Off is just around the corner!

Dame Prue Leith took to her Instagram today (March 9) to announce that the beloved baking show will be back with new episodes later this month, with the new series airing on Channel 4 from Tuesday, March 22, at 8pm.

And it will all be for a great cause, too!

Digital Spy understands that the show will be returning for a limited five-part series in aid of Stand Up to Cancer and will be titled The Great Stand Up to Cancer Bake Off.

It was first announced back in February that the show would be inviting celebrities to enter the famous tent in aid of the Stand Up to Cancer campaign.

A different set of four celebrity bakers will be competing in three rounds, which will include the signature, technical and showstopper challenges. But, at the end of each show, only one will be decorated with the coveted Star Baker apron.

One episode will even see Lucas swapping sides and filling in for a missing baker, getting a taste of what it's like to bake under the scrutiny of Fielding.

Celebrities that have been confirmed to be joining the show include Alex Horne, Annie Macmanus (better known as Annie Mac), Ben Miller, Blake Harrison, Clara Amfo, Ed Gamble, Ellie Goulding, Emma Willis, Example, Gareth Malone, Katherine Kelly, Laura Whitmore, Mawaan Rizwan, Sir Mo Farah, Motsi Mabuse, Ruby Wax, Sophie Morgan, Tracy-Ann Oberman and Yung Filly.

The Great Stand Up to Cancer Bake Off begins on March 22. The Great British Bake Off airs on Channel 4 in the UK. In the US, it's known as The Great British Baking Show, and streams on Netflix.
