“Dancing With the Stars” pro Brandon Armstrong got engaged to his girlfriend, Brylee Ivers, Monday night.
“I made a good decision a while back to ask you on a date…made the BEST decision of my life asking you to be my wife last night! I love you forever bry!” Armstrong, 27, wrote on Instagram alongside photos of the two hugging and posing together after his proposal.
“My whole heart for my whole life. ❤️🔥😭 I can’t wait to marry you @brandonarmstrong !!!!! 💍,” Ivers, 23, added on her Instagram.
Many members of Armstrong’s “DWTS” family commented with messages of excitement.
“Let’s fricken go!!!!! So proud of you @brandonarmstrong,” Alan Bersten wrote.
“YESS!!!!!! I am so happy for you two @bryleebug6@brandonarmstrong,” Lindsay Arnold commented.
“AHHHHHHHHHHHH!! I love this 😍,” Sharna Burgess chimed in.
Armstrong proposed to Ivers, whom he started dating in early 2021, by making a movie trailer of their favorite memories and playing it in front of their friends and family members at a movie theater in Utah.
“I started crying when the trailer came out, and I knew I was screwed,” Armstrong told People. “All of our best friends and family were there, and I walked her down to the front, told her I loved her and can’t wait to start a family with her. I’m just so excited for our future together!”
Armstrong popped the question with a custom 3.5-carat circle diamond on a gold diamond band.
“It’s perfect,” Ivers told the magazine of her new bling.
The newly engaged couple had their first date at The Cheesecake Factory after Armstrong slid into Ivers’ Instagram DMs.
