Stolarz yielded three goals on 19 shots in Tuesday's 8-3 loss to the Blackhawks.

John Gibson turned in another dud by allowing five goals in the first period, and Stolarz made his third relief appearance in the last 10 games. The 28-year-old wasn't that good in the final two periods of the blowout, but it won't affect his 9-6-1 record. He's also posted a 2.77 GAA and a .915 save percentage through 20 games. With Gibson struggling, it's a little surprising Stolarz hasn't started to take on a larger share of the starts when both are healthy. The Ducks' next game is Thursday against the Predators.
