Boyd had a goal and an assist in Tuesday's 9-2 win over the Red Wings.
Boyd rounded out his stat line with two shots, two blocks, two PIM, one hit and a plus-4 rating. He opened the scoring just 1:06 into the first period and assisted on Nick Schmaltz's goal late in the second, which was Schmaltz's 11th point in the last two games. Their other linemate, Clayton Keller, has seven points in the last two games, while Boyd has missed out on most of the fun with points on only two of Arizona's 17 goals in this stretch.
