Jerome underwent successful surgery to address a sports hernia Tuesday and will miss the rest of the 2021-22 season, Andrew Schlecht of The Athletic reports.
Jerome has missed the past seven games and was set to sit again for the back-to-back set Tuesday and Wednesday, but he's instead been ruled out for the remainder of the campaign following the procedure. The 24-year-old appeared in 48 games this season and averaged 7.1 points, 1.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 16.7 minutes while shooting 37.8 percent from the field. Jerome is expected to be cleared for full basketball activities in about eight weeks.
