Katie and Kobe

Kearney County Health Services has welcomed a new provider to its medical staff. Katie Odvody, PA started seeing patients in the clinic on March 7.

“We’re really excited to get her started and get her integrated not only into the hospital but into the community,” KCHS CEO Luke Poore said. “Through interviews and everything else we observed with her along with her desire to take care of a rural community, it was a perfect match.”

Katie is originally from the Crete/Wilber area. She completed her undergraduate work at Chadron State College before earning her medical degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Before joining the KCHS staff, Katie worked as a CNA at Heritage Estates in Gering.
