SAN FRANCISCO (95.7 The Game) - The San Francisco 49ers finalized their coaching staff on Monday afternoon, hiring Brian Schnieder as the team's special teams coordinator.

The move comes shortly after the hiring of Brian Griese as the quarterbacks coach over the weekend, ending a flurry of coach signings to help fill the voids left in the massive turnover for the staff.

San Francisco will not have an offensive coordinator in 2022, per reports, with head coach Kyle Shanahan set to call offensive plays.

Griese, a former Pro Bowl quarterback with the Broncos, played under Kyle's father, Mike Shanahan, in Denver, and he later played for the Buccaneers when Kyle was just beginning his NFL coaching career as an offensive assistant in Tampa. Like Shanahan, Griese is a second-generation football man, his father being Dolphins great Bob Griese.

Among the other signings are Anthony Lynn the team's assistant head coach and running back's coach, Brian Fleury as tight ends coach, Leonard Hankerson as receivers coach, Klay Kubiak as QBs coach, Joe Graves as assistant OL coach, and Nick Sorensen as a defensive assistant.

There were also three quality control staff signings to the staff.
