Brooklyn is viewing Duke as out indefinitely after he suffered a left ankle sprain Sunday while playing for the G League's Long Island Nets, Alec Sturm of NetsDaily.com reports.

Duke recorded three points (1-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), two assists and two steals across 11 minutes before he exited in the first half after a hard fall to the floor on a dunk attempt. He'll presumably rejoin Brooklyn in the coming days to undergo further tests on his ankle, which should give the team a better sense of how long he'll be sidelined. Regardless, the two-way rookie out of Providence won't be part of the Nets' plans at the NBA level.
