Alexa Demie was turning heads at Balenciaga's March 6 Paris Fashion Week show for arguably two reasons. For starters, the Euphoria star turned up to the show wearing some very short bangs. We're talking so short that they sit at the very top of her forehead.
We've seen a similar look on the actor before — believe it, baby, this isn't Demie's first rodeo with a short fringe. She wore a similar pair of bangs to the 2020 Vanity Fair Oscar After Party. It's fair to say that she has a soft spot for the style, but it appears that she's looking to take her bangs to some new heights… or rather, shorter lengths. This most recent baby bang iteration is just slightly more cropped than they were two years ago.
The second reason all eyes were on the 31-year-old actor? The stunning, blue-purple eye shadow look she had on. A translucent, shimmering grey-purple pigment sits on Demie's upper eyelids, with a rich shade of matte purple in the crease. The actor's lower lash line was also finely lined with the purple hue. Demie's inner corners did not go untouched and were decorated with a hint of sparkle.
While we're all here for the actor's otherworldly holographic eye moment, the micro fringe is truly the star of Demie's Balenciaga show look. In a world where eyebrow-skimming bangs are all the rage, it's refreshing to see a different take on the style. The other celebrity that we've seen with a micro fringe as of late is Lady Gaga. She wore the short style to the House of Gucci premiere in London in November 2021. Maybe we all need to take some cues from Demie and Gaga and wear our bangs shorter, too.
