KINGMAN COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 1:30p.m. Sunday in Kingman County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Ford Expedition driven by Maurice R. Mack, 47 San Diego, CA., was westbound on U.S. 54 one quarter mile west of Northwest 120th Avenue.
The driver lost control on the slush packed roads. The SUV entered the north ditch, rolled and came to rest on the driver's side.
EMS transported a passenger Joyce Baker, 36,San Diego to the hospital in Pratt. The driver and 6 children in the SUV were not injured. All 8 were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
