Fabbro helped out on Michael McCarron's opening tally at 10:43 of the first period. This was Fabbro's fifth assist in his last seven games, a span in which he's also posted a plus-8 rating. The 23-year-old defenseman continues to look ready for a top-four role, at least defensively. He's at 16 points, a plus-16 rating, 61 blocked shots, 61 shots on net and 22 PIM through 45 appearances this season.
